...A Dragon Story...
ONCE THERE WAS a very Fierce Dragon. He lived all alone in a huge cave in the mountain. His name was Icefyre. He had lots of treasure for he was the guardian of spirits and in his treasure were the gems that could awaken the dragon spirits from their slumber.... He had been guarding them for many centuries, now it was time for their awakening.
They were the spirits of his sleeping friends, waiting for the moment to awaken. When he realised it was time he took a spirit of life down to the bottom of the ocean in the form of a large ruby and he proceeded to call into the night. As he did this he held the ruby in his hands. This was the Ruby of the Dragon King, it was time for his long lost friend to return, the Dragon King, Prothereo, who gave his orders.
Icefyre woke the great King at this time because the signs had been seen that the evilest dragon, Glaurung, the black dragon, was making his return.
The mighty red dragon, Prothereo gave his order
"Defend our land" he roared. At this order the spirits of 70 dragons stirred and woke to answer the Kings command.
"We must burn Glaurung" the King ordered.
But Icefyre was worried "O! Powerful Dragon King, how could you do this?" he questioned.
"Just burn him. Tie him to the stake and tie him tightly. Place him in the high fire. He is evil and we should not be merciful to him. If we allow him to go free he will make havoc across the land." Prothereo stated firmly.
"O! My King, please don't do this, if we burn him now this will be evil too. Merlin once told me evil can never destroy evil. Banish him master, banish him to the edge of the Earth but do not kill him in this way." Icefyre pleaded...

Part two
So the Dragon King decided to banish the Black Dragon.
Whilst Glaurung was sleeping, Prothereo thrust his mighty cage over him and caged the evil beast locking it with padlocks, and together, Prothereo and Icefyre took him to the edge of the Earth.
They left him there chained with strong iron and steel chains and flew back to the Kingdom of Loegria.
The city was crowded with dragons of all shapes and sizes. Sissyak, the valient yet peaceful poet and Peruleous, the great golden dragon warrior, came to the great mountain where Prothereo rested with Icefyre. Great plates of food were ordered to be served to their guests. As they ate they told the story of their journey to Loegria.
Peruleous offered to fight Glaurung, but Prothereo replied "There's no need to fight him, he's caged."
"But what if he escapes from that cage?" Peruleous asked
"No worries. Icefyre's breath is magical and that metal was forged by his fire. It is unbreakable."
All was peace and merriment in the Great Dragon Kingdom of Loegria. Two years passed since the chaining of Glaurung, when the rumour came.
The Black dragons were secretly burning the villages of men and rudely blaming it on Icefyre. And that was the start of the first havoc of Glaurung
One day a valiant knight from the land of men came in search of his revenge on Icefyre. On horseback he rode for 7 months to reach Loegria. It was an arduous journey and Sir Livenhund now believed he would never reach his destination for he was lost. He turned to retrace his steps and a moment later a large black shape came into view in the distance.
"I have never seen an object such as that before
